Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using LeanCSV ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Description of the Service

LeanCSV is a browser-based CSV cleaning and inspection tool provided as part of the RuntimeHub suite. All processing occurs client-side inside your browser. The Service is provided free of charge and requires no registration or account.

Permitted use

You may use the Service for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, subject to these terms. You are solely responsible for the data you load into the Service and for ensuring you have the right to process that data.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national or international law.
  • Attempt to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that places unreasonable load on infrastructure.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code and content, is owned by the operators of RuntimeHub and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose.

Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over any file or data you process through the Service.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. CSV parsing heuristics — delimiter detection, type inference — are best-effort and may not be accurate for all file formats. Always verify the output before using it in a production context.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operators of RuntimeHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Because the Service processes data entirely client-side and never receives your files, our liability for any loss or corruption of data is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Third-party services

The Service is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and may load fonts from Google Fonts. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices. The Service may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks; we are not responsible for the content of those advertisements.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, or any part of it, at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time — the effective date above will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Service after any change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
